Hello

I am currently pursuing a Master of Social Work degree at Chicago State University. Throughout my career in Child Welfare, my mission has been to utilize my extensive experience in order to bring about positive change for families and children.. As a black woman who has experienced cultural changes throughout my childhood and education, I strongly believe in the transformative power of therapy in overcoming obstacles and nurturing relationships.

My concentration lies in addressing family of origin and relationship issues, stress management, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and personal growth. I find fulfillment in coming alongside individuals to assist them in healing from trauma, cultivating self-worth, improving communication in their relationships, and achieving their goals. With compassion and understanding, I view counseling and assessment as healing processes, guiding individuals in exploring profound questions about themselves or their child. My aim is to create an environment of compassion and support that enables individuals and families to learn and thrive. Drawing on my strong listening skills, I am able to discern each client's unique needs and provide them with helpful resources.
